Runoff from residential landscapes is harming our oceans and impacting our lives. The sediment in water reduces clarity; nutrients increase algae populations and red tides which kill fish and other wildlife; bacteria closes beaches; debris can choke and suffocate aquatic species; and pesticides picked up off a landscape can poison fish consumed by humans.
This is killing the ocean.
We aim to change this, one garden at a time...
